  Since 1982, the Food Banks of Western Massachusetts has provided healthy food to citizens of Hampden, Hampshire, Berkshire, and Franklin counties.  

    The Food Bank serves over 100,000 people a month, serving them 11.6 million meals.   29% of them are children, ages 0-17. They serve many of our patients and families.  

    Each $1 you give provides four meals, served at shelters, soup kitchens, brown bag programs for the elderly, mobile vans and more.

    The Food Bank supports local agriculture, purchasing food from 29 area farms.  They also rescue food that restaurants would throw out.  They also provide nutrition education to residents in the Valley.
